Medicine Hat, Alberta (December 2nd, 2015) – Fourteen Southern Alberta Charities will receive a total of $84,978 grants from the Smart & Caring Community Fund through the Community Foundation of Southeastern Alberta. Cheques and certificates are being presented to representatives from all 14 organizations at the 16th annual Chair’s Reception.
Numerous organizations applied for grants from the Smart & Caring Community Fund in September. After thorough analysis by a committee of several local volunteers and board members, the Community Foundation is proud to announce the results at the 16th annual Chair’s Reception. “All charities who applied to us are in great need and our grant dollars provide necessary financial support, so charities can focus their energy on executing their mission,” said Lee Krasilowez, Grants Manager at the CFSEA.
