In the wake of closing, Save Old Souls Senior Canine Rescue Society is transferring their financial assets to create a permanent endowment fund for the Medicine Hat SPCA here at the Community Foundation. The fund will be seeded with a $126,000 contribution. As with all Community Foundation endowment funds, the capital is never spent – but the investment income will provide an ongoing source of financial support to the SPCA – today, tomorrow, forever!
