CFSEA engages donors with causes they are passionate about to build permanent endowments.
Every donation is prudently invested for the long-term benefit of Southeastern Alberta. Your initial gift is never spent and the investment income from your gift will benefit local charities indefinitely.
Donors create funds in their family name, in memory of a loved one and for a specific charity or scholarship.
Heritage Club members are donors who have made a future charitable gift to the CFSEA in their estate plans.
Members designate the gift of cash, a percentage of their estate or other appraised assets such as land, jewelry, securities, life insurance and retirement funds.
Their foresight and generosity will continue to ensure vital communities and create positive impact for generations to come.
Establishing an Agency Endowment Fund at CFSEA is an easy and effective way a registered charity can build a continuous stream of revenue. Share in the advantage of our investment management and administrative support.
Options for temporary managed funds or permanent endowment funds are available.
These permanent funds or endowments have been established by local residents and enable the community to “give where you live.”
Community Funds support local charitable needs. The three newly established funds are:
The Brooks & District Community Fund – County of Newell
The Prairie Crocus Community Fund – Special Area No 3 and MD of Acadia
The Rural Community Fund of Forty Mile – County of Forty Mile
