The Community Foundation of Southeastern Alberta (CFSEA) is now accepting applications for its 2026 Community Impact Award. This annual award supports innovative, community-driven projects that strengthen communities, create lasting impact, and enhance quality of life across Southeastern Alberta.

The 2026 Community Impact Award supports innovative projects that create lasting, positive change across the region.
The Community Impact Award provides a one-time grant of $35,000 to charities or non-profit organizations that support a bold, forward-thinking project that goes beyond day-to-day operations. The award is designed for initiatives that address significant community needs and demonstrate long-term impact, collaboration, and sustainability.
Last year’s Community Impact Award was presented to McMan Youth, Family & Community Services (South Region) to support the development of the Kickstand youth hub in Medicine Hat, including enhancements to the kitchen space. The project reflects the kind of innovative, community-driven work the award was designed to support.

- Medicine Hat & District
- Brooks & District (County of Newell)
